Kneeland Gallery | Sun Valley & Las Vegas
1985 - 2000
The Kneeland Galleries of Sun Valley/Ketchum and Las Vegas represented my work for 15 years from 1986-2000 and featured my work in several shows a year during that time. Sometimes my florals were the dominant feature and others it was landscapes.
Paintings were sold to clients in almost every state in the U.S. as well as collectors, such as the Hemingway family (‘Two White Iris - Twirling’) and the Richard Dreyfus family (‘Pasterale with Three Horses’) shown above.
In one of the shows I was honored to have my work hung along with the great American master painter and sculptor George Carlson’s bronze sculptures, as shown in these photos.
In the early 1990’s the Sun Valley Gallery began their signature 3 Day Plein Aire Events when their artists paint out in choice locations where the public can watch, culminating in a Gallery Walk evening on Friday night. I participated many times. Please see a few examples of Plein Air paintings, plus Kneeland Gallery show invitation and artist statement. – G.P.L.
