Kayaking + Grand Canyon
I married adventure! That is to say my adventurous husband, Ken, and he taught me to kayak. It has taken me to places of incredible beauty and wonder and also given us a heck of a lot of fun!

Many times I photograph the landscapes on our camping trips to paint later, but also the images stick with me from these places and they make their way into my work both literally and also in more abstract impressions. Many memories come from my 3 trips down the 275 miles of the Grand Canyon.
