These are just a small sampling of the hundreds of FLORALS that I have painted over the last 50 years. Some are done with oils; some with soft pastels and sometimes I add a hand carved and painted frame.

My mother had wonderful gardens including a massive Iris bed. I too have surrounded my husband’s and my home with Iris. Plus I seek them wherever they can be found to use them as subjects for paintings. Other flowers that often attract me are Peonies and Poppies and Tulips and Lillies and even Orchids too. - G.P.L.
